How To Use
Guide To Using ICC Water Clarifier
The first step is to determine the size of your water feature. This information should have come when you bought it. If you do not have this information, please contact the vendor of the item. If you have a pond or other feature with standing water you can calculate the volume of it using this article as a guide.
Dosage
Adjusting
There are certain circumstances where you might want to adjust the dosage. Though, we highly recommend sticking to the dosage on the bottle (or the table above) if pets and/or wildlife drink from your water feature. †
- If your water feature is dirty and heavily overrun with algae, apply once up to 5 times the dosage. You can expect to see results within 3 to 4 days. Once water looks clear we recommend cleaning your feature thoroughly and adding new water. After water is clear, or new water is added, return to the recommended dosage and use as normal.
- If it has been a week using ICC Water Clarifier with no results it could mean you have overly hard water. If this is the case, you may see results by doubling the dosage. If results are still not seen, at your discretion, you may go above the dosage up to 5 times the recommended dosage.
For more information, please see the Material Safety Data Sheet.
† Please note that we take no responsibility for any damages that might occur from going above the recommended dosage. This is a guide based on tests done under controlled conditions and results may vary.
